My name is (suprise!) Andrew Stockdale. I live in Cheltenham, and I’m a BSc Computing student. I seriously enjoy Photography, and equally, I’m a bit of a computing geek. I also like Microsoft products, although I wouldn’t agree with the term ‘fanboy’. But less about MS, more about MEEEEEEEE. First of all, ladies, sorry, I’m taken. Yeah. Secondly, my birthday is on the 14th of July. Now you know, there’s no excuse to forget.

Hardware I use:

Laptop: HP HDX 9399sx. It’s a 20.1″ laptop manufactured by HP with a very powerful spec. And yes, you can use it as a laptop, I do. You just have to be slightly fitter and in better physical shape than most computing students.

Camera(s): Canon EOS 40D, Canon EOS400D, Canon A-1, UEI Holga 135. I use an EF 70-200 f/4L USM, an EF 17-40 f/4L USM, an EF 50mm f/1.8 II, and an FD 50mm f/1.8. The Holga has a 47mm plastic lens.  I shoot digital and film. I think both mediums have their place. Digital is shot on 4GB Kingston 133x CFs and stored on a 1.5TB RAID5 NAS device. Film is shot on a mix of Fuji Velvia 50, Ilford HP5+ and Ilford Delta3200.

Phone: Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 running Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional, on O2′s network. I love this thing, it keeps me in line. Beautiful, amazing piece of technology.
